The thing I most excited about with the Plus 3 Transfer+ Program is the structure of the visit. Of my experience in traveling abroad, I have planned excursions myself and am often held back by my laziness/knowledge. On this trip, the generous organizers planned so many fun company visits, tours, and other events that will force me to engage in the Czech culture. On this trip I am hoping to learn more about engineering industry. I don’t come from a family of engineers and have only done research so I haven’t gotten a chance to see professional engineers. I am also excited about the hotel breakfast every morning as past trip members have advertised it as a five-star meal.
My biggest worry on this trip is that I will forget my stuff when traveling. I am bad at multitasking and there are so many different things going on while flying to another country. I have created a list and as long as I check this list when leaving and entering anywhere, I should be okay. I am extremely excited for this trip, however, and am looking forward to meeting new people in such a unique setting. Traveling with other people builds a bond that I am excited to explore!
