We mmade it to Prague Yay!! After getting settled into our hotel rooms Jana took us on an informative walk through this beautiful city showing us the highlights of Prague. We got to see the Astronomical tower, The powder tower (our personal landmark to get back home), and of course the Charles Bridge. Jana told us a lot about the bridge that I did not learn when researching online. My favorite things I learned was the day and time that the last foundational stone was placed is a symbolic date. 135797531 is on the sign by the bridge, and means the year 1357, july 7th, at 5:31 am. the numbers make a pyramid, which symbolizes how King Charles wanted the bridge to be built to last. Also, the statue son the front part of the bridge are symbolic to the classes. The lower level represents the common people, next the royal family, then the saints. I thought these were so interetsing to learn today, it almost personalized my perspective of the bridge in a wya that researching online was not able to.

We started off our trip with such a good start learning more about the city today, and ended it watching the sunset on the roof of our hotel, look at the view! See ya tomorrow!
