The Central Bohemian Innovation center was a great start of our day with some information regarding their support for startups. While I think what they are doing is amazing, it was disappointing to hear that they only have 10% female clients. However, I am glad that they are taking steps to close the gap and I hope they can one day get to a ratio that will be more empowering for women. The next stop of the day at the language class was one of my favorite parts of the trip so far. I have been practicing the words all day (but my pronunciation is horrendous). The class also gave us the foundation we needed to complete the scavenger hunt. Thankfully I had Alex on my team, so we were definitely able to navigate Prague easier. Learning Czech has been an incredible experience, and I hope that I can successfully respond to a local by the end of this trip. My biggest misconception is that I was going to mainly be surrounded by Czech locals. Throughout my time here I have definitely met way more non-czech people. It almost feels like Prague is a melting pot of all the surrounding countries, which would make sense based off the influence of the other countries throughout history.
