First, we started off our day at the Central Bohemian Innovation Center. I was really surprised how involved they were in supplying money and resources to companies. In America, I feel like there are resources for startups, but it seems as though it’s not as accessible in the United States. The only resources I know of in the United States are through universities, but maybe I am just not very knowledgeable about resources for startups. From there, we went to Charles University again to take a Czech language class. I found learning the Czech language to be extremely difficult. It gave me a deep respect for the Czech people, who understand not only just English and Czech, but most likely other languages as well. I wish that the United States would begin language classes earlier in life like European nations do. I have had many misconceptions about the Czech Republic, but the biggest is definitely how friendly the people are. I thought that the Czechs would be mean, as many Europeans tend to be. However, the Czechs have been very friendly and welcoming to us, and I really appreciate it!
