Today we started our trip with a visit to the Sedlec Ossuary Bone Church which was so cool! It made me a little queasy seeing all of the real human bones but the decorations were breathtaking, I loved the bone chandleir! Then we made our way to St Barbaras cathederal, and lets just say it blows our Cathedral of learning out of the water! The fact that it was built so long ago and is still standing is crazy to me. I loved the detailed stained windows that were in the church I thought they were breathtaking. Something I noticed about the churches and cathedreals from this time is the detailed ceilings. If you stop for a second and just look up you can see beautiful paintings on the celings, and now that is something I make sure to look for in all churches! Then we went to the Kunta Hora silver mine which might have been the highlight of my trip so far! We got to wear miners hats ansd coats and went through some narrow tunnels. This mine was used to make all the coins for Prague. Looking foward to another great day tomorow!
