Swanson School of Engineering

Today, I started my day by climbing up the Powder Tower. I was glad we were finally able to do this with the free time we got this morning. The view was incredible and reminded me how beautiful Prague really is. Then, we went around to shop a bit. Then, we started our actual activity of the day, which was going to Kunsthalle for a tour and a networking event. The art in Kunsthalle was really interesting and creative, and it has really inspired me to try and be more creative in my career. I feel like as engineers sometimes we focus so much on the technical side of things that we don’t have the time to fully explore our creative sides, but I can always appreciate art. After seeing the art, we did the alumni networking event. Personally, I would be interested in working in other countries. I have an interest in consulting, which typically has a heavy travel component, meaning you could have to travel to other countries, which I definitely want to do. I think I would still want to be based in the United States, however, since I would be closer to loved ones.
