Another great day in Prague! We had a free morning so I jumped at the opportunity to finally climb to the top of the Powder Tower that we walk under every single day. At Pitt, everyone knows that seeing a glimpse of Cathy is our beacon and sign of home when we are at school. Here in Prague, the Powder Tower has taken on that same role as and guides us home. Getting to the top and seeing the city from above was a special moment that made Prague feel even more like home.

Later, we travelled to the Kunsthalle Museum where we had a behind the scenes tour of how the building operates. I had no idea how much precision and care goes into maintaining art. Every detail like humidity, lighting, and temperature have to be perfectly controlled to preserve the art. Super cool!

Finally, we ended with an event with Pitt Alumni networking event in Prague!! We had the opportunity to talk to alumni that live in Prague and are all living different careers. I spoke with one alum who now owns his own company in the Czech Republic and is extremely successful. If the language barrier was not a factor, I could absolutely see myself  being an engineer in a foreign country like the Czech Republic one day.
