Today at Škoda, I was blown away by the sheer scale and efficiency of the automotive manufacturing process. Watching massive robots and skilled mechanics work seamlessly on the assembly line, producing one car per minute, was a spectacle of precision and speed. The factory was impressively large, with distinct sections for everything from engine production to worker amenities like an infirmary and food services. I was also fascinated by Škoda’s rich history, which was highlighted in the museum as the company celebrates its 130th anniversary, from its beginnings as a bicycle manufacturer in 1895 to becoming a major global car supplier by 2025. As for my journey, my pit was adjusting to Prague’s culture, especially facing the challenge of accepting things I wasn’t used to, while my peak was experiencing the beauty of the city and bonding with the group. I am very grateful for having such great company. In Prague, I noticed the little things, like the feeling of being a tourist due to the language barrier and unfamiliar customs, which made me more aware of my surroundings. As for food, the best meal I had was a delicious lamb kebab marinated in yogurt and pomegranates with vegetables and rice at a Persian restaurant in Prague—truly a highlight of the trip.
