Today by far was one of the most interesting days we have had on this trip (I may be a little biased). During our visit to Skoda I was constantly in a state of awe walking through the production line. The automation of the robots was so incredibly interesting and overall, it was just a great experience. This trip aligned perfectly with my past classes, so it was cool to see the real-world application. One thing that has especially stuck with me is the ratio of females to males at the company. I believe they said it was only about 21% women, but that they are working on improving this.
I think the peak of my trip so far has been this trip to Skoda because it was the first time I truly understood the information being told. My pit has definitely been the pain in my feet; however, it is worth it.
A few little things I have noticed is that the dogs are not the same breeds we would normally see in America, and they are also always off leash. This is something I constantly keep seeing and would honestly love to have in America.
