today, we went to skoda, a czech car manufacturer. we started by looking through the museum. i really enjoyed the layout of the museum, as you could see the progression of skoda vehicles throughout time. after that, we went to the factory. the factory was amazing! as an industrial engineer, i can really appreciate the work that goes into trying to perfect a factory like this. i was really interested about their attempt to automate the factory. i was wondering if this was because of scarcity of employees, or an attempt to be more productive. that is one question i didn’t get the chance to ask. then, we went to the motorsport netting, which i also found really interesting. i hope one day to work for a big plant like skoda.
