Škoda was AWESOME but I think I have to dedicate this entire blog post to the dinner I ate last night. Norah found this incredible underground Persian restaurant here in Prague. It was one of those places where you could just tell when you first walked in from the smell and vibes that you were about to have a very special meal. It was quiet and there were very few people there including the Iranian owner and a few chefs. The restaurant was called Aubergine and I cannot stop thinking about it.
I ordered the Kabab Bakhtiari which was this huge kabob of alternating chicken, lamb, roasted peppers, tomatoes, and onions. The presentation was almost too beautiful to eat but that did not stop me because every single bite was incredible. The lamb was cooked so well it literally melted in your mouth and the chicken was so juicy and well-seasoned. The vegetables had that perfect smoky char and paired very well with the meat.
I ended up boxing up the leftovers (there was no way was I leaving it behind) and I’m already counting down until I get to eat it again. Aubergine was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had abroad so far. If anyone happens to travel to Prague, this place is a mandatory stop. Honestly, I might go back before we leave.
