Today we got to explore the car manufacturing facilities of the European car brand Skoda. They took us through the history of the company and cars, manufacturing of these cars and the impressive robots that are used to build the parts, and different departments of the company. After touring the facilities, we got the unique opportunity to learn about Skoda motorsport and even got to see the building where they tested out the cars. Skoda builds one of the most successful rally cars and gets international recognition and success from those who use it.

So far on this journey of study abroad, there have been many both high and low points. The high points for me have been interacting with the other students on the trip. While traveling alone is fun, experiencing the different companies, food, sceneries, and so much more, has been greatly boosted by the ability to share it with other people. I was hoping that this trip would create a closer bond than a normal friendship had the capability to, and I believe I was right. When I try to think of low points, the only things that come to mind are small things like running out clean clothes, draining my wallet, and being tired. However, if it meant I could experience this trip again, I would gladly give those things up.
