Day 11 in Prague was another incredible one! (big shock there!) We went to the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry (IOBC), had a nice free afternoon, and then finished off the evening with a dinner cruise on the Charles River!
The IOBC was actually very interesting (I hated chemistry so this was a big surprise). We got to tour many labs and learn about what different research each one was performing. We got to see the work being done in areas like drug development and other practical applications. Touring a place like this in Prague, which is known for its innovation, made the visit way more memorable and interesting.
Last night’s event was definitely the highlight of the day and maybe the highlight of the whole strip so far! We all boarded the ship right before the sun was about to set, making the Charles River all the more beautiful. We cruised past historic landmarks and under the Charles Bridge. Seeing all of the city and architecture from the river was truly astounding. We all sat together at a long table and had the chance to laugh and talk and just enjoy each other’s company. Everyone got to reflect on the amazing trip we’ve had!
