Cesky Krumlov was truly a blast into a fairy tale book. The buildings and walkways were adorable with a bunch of little shops and restaurants. The tour had many very interesting stops. One that stuck out to me was the conversation about the ideal body types for women and what they were expected to wear. It always amazes me how much “trends” change over the years.

I think that the U.S could definitely benefit from adopting a similar public transportation system. There system was so much more efficient as well as timely. Although I am not completely sure of the science behind their transportation system, it is definitely worth looking into further.

I don’t think there were many moments that the language or cultural differences greatly impacted me. Little things like paying for public bathrooms was definitely something I had to adjust to. Also, speaking to waiters at restaurants was difficult because I couldn’t always understand follow up questions. One big thing was water not being free. I chose to just avoid ordering water at restaurants because I wasn’t sure when I was being charged or not. Lastly, calculating cost was sometimes tough because I would usually just estimate but it was often off.
