Today was our last full day in the Czech Republic 😦

We took a bus all the way to Cesky Krumlov, a little town about 3 hours south of Prague. It is known for its enormous castle, which I’m pretty sure is the 3rd largest castle complex in the world (maybe). We toured through the castle and even got to see the bear moat. Yes it actually still has real life bears! After our tour we were able to explore the windy cobblestone streets of the town and look at all of its stunning architecture and Vltava River.

On a more random note, I think the US could benefit from implementing some things from the Czech Republic. From universal health care to public transportation that actually makes sense, they just seem to do most things better here. Even the bathroom stalls are better (no big awkward gap that you can see right through). This might seem small, but I just love all of the round-a-bouts.  Why doesn’t the US have more of these? They keep everything moving, reduce unnecessary stops, and somehow just make everything feel more civilized. Instead of wasting time waiting at empty intersections for a stop sign or red light, you just soar through.
