I can’t believe I am writing this blog post in America and not Prague its so sad. This trip was so much better than I ever could have imagined, I really fell in love with the culture and the engineering here. Having another opportunity to study engineering abroad really puts the crossover of culture/socitey and engineering into morre perspectice. The highlights of my trip was the Skoda factory tour, CEZ and the coal mine, and the cooking class! I have learned from this trip how strong of an impact culture and societey have in technoloogy after being in such a culture rich city like Prague. Advice I would give to others traveling to prague is to make sure you have comfy shoes, I fully underestimated the amount of walking we would do in Prague. Also bringing more sweaters or jackets would be nice, night time was alot colder than I was expecting.
I am most grateful for this trip bringing me new friends that I will forver have! The people truly do make the place and I am so happy to have shared this experience with my new friends. I think that this prgram could have been in any city, country, or about any topic and it would have been just as memorable due to the people. I have made some lifelong friends from this trip and I am really sad that it is over and I am back to reality.
