Day 7 was the final full day of the trip to Iceland. It was a much more sedate day, to give us time to go around Reykjavik and have some fun. After a small breakfast, We headed out to the University of Reykjavik for a tour and some presentations. The school itself was quite nice, but was rather small overall. We got to see what some of the masters students were doing for their thesis. After a very nice lunch from lemon, we had a class on geothermal energy, before getting to see the system used to demo it.

A nice visit, but after we were set free until dinner. I walked over to the Harpa concert hall, and got to do a quite look inside, which included a very cool picture advertising their volcano show. After that, I went to Bakabaka and got some very nice pastries, before retiring to the room to get some work done.

After heading down and talking with some of my other tripmates before dinner, we headed out to the Grand Brasserie, where we had an excellent dinner and got our wonderful guide a thank you card.

All in all, this was a very fun trip, and I got to see a bunch of wonderful sights. I learned a lot during the trip, and got to see and experience a lot of what this beautiful land has to offer. Iceland is worth your time to visit, in both the spring, summer, and fall.
