Swanson School of Engineering

Throughout the program, my peers and I had the opportunity to participate in engaging coursework, projects, and site tours while integrating with German professors and students. As an aspiring patent lawyer, witnessing German engineering up close, not to mention in a global innovation hub, was very applicable to my field of interest, where I would be working at the intersection of engineering, innovation, and law! Outside of the classroom, we made amazing memories through cultural excursions, including taking a Bavarian cooking class, exploring Marienplatz, going to an FC Bayern Munich game, and traveling to Salzburg, Austria. Above all, we made long-lasting friendships with people from all around the world while immersing ourselves in Bavaria’s culture, which is an opportunity like no other that I will cherish forever.
