My time in Brazil through Pitt’s Exploration of Energy and Electrification gave me life changing experiences in terms of culture and engineering. The two-week trip combined with various different cities and places to visit did not disappoint, from the Brazilian steakhouses, learning Capoeira, and visiting the beautiful Iguazu Falls while learning about hydroelectric power. I could truly go on forever about how educational and fun this trip was. Everyone on the trip learned about renewable energy and how another nation combats climate/energy problems while also having the time of our lives. Justin W.
