After spending a few days in Paris, I took a short one-hour flight and finally landed in Prague around 10 p.m. Though it was too late to catch much of the city lit up at night, I could already feel the charm of Prague from the brief car ride to my hotel. One thing that stood out immediately? The cobblestones. Dragging my suitcase over them was no easy task, but it was a fun reminder that I’m truly in the “cobblestone city.” Now that I’m here, I’m incredibly excited for what lies ahead.

What excites me most about this international experience is the chance to immerse myself in a new culture while gaining a global perspective on engineering. I hope to learn not just how different countries approach engineering problems, but also how culture influences design and innovation. I’m curious to see how engineering solutions are shaped by the historical and architectural context of a place like Prague.

I’m also looking forward to stepping out of my comfort zone and learning more about myself—how I adapt, how I communicate, and how I can grow personally and professionally. One of my goals is to build connections, both with students on this program and with the city itself. I hope this experience shapes the way I think about global collaboration in engineering and inspires future international work or study.
