Whilst packing for the program it was hard to think what to expect. There is so much to learn in the two weeks I will be spending here. Which makes me nervous that I won’t get to see everything that Prague has to offer. What most excites me is being able to experience life in the Czech Republic while learning about the history of how it became what it is today. In addition, learning more about the impact that engineering had on developing the nation. Having previously traveled to the neighboring country Poland I want to see if I can catch on onto similarities and differences between the culture and history of both countries. Having traveled to the Netherlands also a part of the Plus 3 Program I most definitely enjoyed the company visits and different tours scattered across the city. Although among those memories are spontaneous events, ones that you don’t think much of at first, but they stay with you. From sitting on the side of the river seeing the sunset in between the houses to playing a never ending uno game with cards we found in a cafe. With that during this trip I want to be more open to opportunities and see everything as something you can learn from.
