My goals for this 2-week trip to Prague, Czech Republic is to gain some insights on engineering outside of the American culture. I am hoping to expand my professional network internationally because I feel that it could help me in my career goals especially as an Environmental Engineer interested in solving global issues pertaining to clean water and energy, I think that this experience would help me understand how such issues are handled in other countries and see how it can help me in my future work. Academically, it would also help me understand what technologies are used and how they connect to technologies I know of currently that could help me in my future research.
