Hello, my name is Kam Chan and I am a third year Industrial Engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh. I am very excited to learn about Florence’s history and how their architecture ties into their city layout. Especially with their architecture style and the mixture of walking and driving routes really interests me, and how it allows Florence to grow especially with the growing tourism around all of Europe as well. Something that interests me is the uplifted style and how much of Italians dress up even for casual days. Since the US is not as formal, I am assuming this is going to take some getting used to, but I have high hopes!
