Swanson School of Engineering

It’s May 4th and I am beyond excited for the trip. We leave today and I cannot wait for the experience that will soon be made. I am equally excited for the cultural visits as well as the educational opportunities including classes at Charles University and numerous plant visits including but not limited to CEZ, Skoda, and Lego. I hope to see a new perspective of engineering and how it’s incorporated in society in Europe compared to the States. I aspire to get a deeper and more detailed understanding of how society and engineering intertwine. I’ve experienced one internship back home and will start a new one just one day after completing the program. I hope to not only compare my previous engineering experience with what I experience in Prague but also take back valuable knowledge and lessons from visits to my new internship. With that being said, my next blog post will be in Prague so I will write back then!
