Swanson School of Engineering

My flight leaves in 12 hours, and I’m so excited for this trip. I’m stuck in the middle seat for the flight over and still need to pack but otherwise it should be great. I’m really excited about some of our company visits and learning about how the businesses are run in another country. With my co-op experience, it should be interesting to compare Czech corporate operations and structure to those that I understand in the US. I’m keeping an open mind about all the company visits because I’m sure they will all be interesting, and I like to go in with a curious mindset. Of course, I’m also excited about all the cultural excursions we have planned. I’ve read some of Kafka’s stories, and I’m interested to see if I can notice the relationship between his work and the culture in the Czech Republic. I can’t wait to learn more about their history and walk where kings have walked! I just need to make sure I remember my passport!
