These last 24 hours made it seem like I was never going to get on the airplane. Yesterday, I had planned to go to the storage unit to take my belongings. The only issue was that when I got there, it was closed.. of course it would be. This morning I woke up bright and early to finish my “to-do” list before heading to Prague. I went to the storage unit, took some boxes to USPS, returned a package at UPS, got my nails done, and re-did my checked bag multiple times to make sure that it met the weight restriction. After those hectic 9 hours, I finally made it to the gate.
Reflecting on what’s to come, I’m so excited for this opportunity. I’ve never been to Europe and I’m thrilled it happens through a SSOE program. There’s always something new to learn in engineering so I’m looking forward to doing so in the Czech Republic. I can’t wait to see what’s to come from this trip. Check back in tomorrow to find out!
