I’m most excited about the opportunity to experience a new culture firsthand and explore a place with such a rich history. Visiting the Czech Republic feels like a unique chance to step outside of my usual environment while also seeing how engineering and industry operate in a different part of the world.
I’m hoping to learn more about how I adapt to new situations and become more independent, both academically and personally. I’m also interested in understanding how engineering practices vary globally and how factors like culture and resources influence those differences. I am a little nervous about the language barrier and adjusting to a new routine, but I see that as part of the learning experience.
My goals for this trip are to step out of my comfort zone, build confidence, and develop a broader global perspective. I also hope this experience helps me think more about future career paths, especially ones that might involve working internationally.
