I’m most excited about this international experience because it feels different from any trip I’ve taken before. Instead of moving around from place to place, we’ll be spending two full weeks in Prague, which gives me the chance to actually settle in and experience the city beyond just the surface. I’m really looking forward to exploring important landmarks and visiting leading companies, but especially seeing everything through an engineering lens. It’ll be interesting to connect what I’ve learned in class and my internships to how things are done differently here compared back to home.
At the same time, leaving wasn’t easy. This picture is of my dog trying to stay in the car to come with to the airport, which made it a lot harder to go, but still I know we’ll be so busy with everything planned that I’ll quickly get caught up in the experience.
