We made finally made it to Prague today! Both flights were a little light, and the first night of sleep in the hotel was much needed. After we arrived, we met our host, Jana, who has been a great help so far. By the time we made it to the hotel, we headed right out for dinner. I got a yummy (but very filling) duck roast and so did Braden, shown in the picture. After dinner we were all tired so us guys went up to the roof of the hotel to play chess and chill before catching some Z’s.
I had some really good conversations with a lot of people in the group, and I’m looking forward to learn more about my peers and grow closer with them on this trip. Jana has already given us a quick culture and language crash course at dinner, and we have a language class tomorrow to look forward to. Hopefully by the end of the two weeks, we’ll all be fluent in Czech!
