Swanson School of Engineering

The old wastewater plant was way cooler than expected! My favorite part was going through the tunnel and taking the boat back. The food was phenomenal as well! I also really enjoyed the language class because now I feel like I am at least trying to give something since everyone is so accommodating by speaking english. I would say the biggest culture shock is how different the language is from any other countries I have been to-even the simple phrases like “Hello” and “Goodbye” are difficult to pronounce. All in all, I really enjoyed our first full day, and surprisingly the wastewater plant as well! I am excited for the week to continue!
