I would say that I had a meaningful conversation with Jana today at dinner. Between myself, others, and Jana, we had conversations where we simply got to know each other and Prague a little bit better. For example, we asked Jana about some of the cultural traditions involving food and how she got involved in her current career. This was technically one of my first interactions with a local (even though she is a guide) and it’s one step closer for me to learn more about the culture. Today mostly involved travel, which was exhausting to say the least. Nevertheless, I am quite excited to see what the rest of the trip has in store, but for this night, it just consisted of a nice dinner, walk, view from the rooftop of the hotel, and getting a good night sleep!
