Swanson School of Engineering

We all landed in Prague and were very relieved to have our main travels behind us. All jet lagged and exhausted we were greeted by Jana. Jana was a bit of a juxtaposition of us at the time. She was extremely jubilant and excited to see us. She was full of energy and a great first impression of the Czech. She got our passes set up and we were off on a van to our hotel 45 min away. We got situated and we on our way to dinner with a small tour in between. We saw some of the interesting places past students including Pizza Nuova. We then landed in a restaurant where my fellow classmates all tried to assimilate to the Czech culture by eating a “festive” (as Jana described) traditional Czech meal of goose/duck, sauerkraut, and dumplings. Very heavy but very delicious!
