After a long travel day, we reunited with the rest of the group and Jana, our local tour guide while we were here. She helped us get set up and gave us our passes to use the tram.
When we got out of the airport it didn’t seem too different from what we are used to back home, but that only lasted a few minutes. As soon as we started our ride to the hotel, we saw such beautiful scenery. The streets were cobblestone and most of the cars outside were Skodas.
After we arrived, we walked for a few minutes with our luggage to get to the hotel. There, we received the keys and only had what felt like a second to leave our stuff and go to dinner. I had the Grilled Beefsteak and it was just what I needed, meat and fries.
Then, I went to the supermarket next to the restaurant with Camryn and Alexis exploring around. We got energy drinks as a safety precaution for what’s to come. I can’t wait to keep learning about the Czech Republic.
