After hearing that our Fresco class got cancelled, I was instantly bummed out. At the time, oil painting had no meaning to me since we had not mentioned it. Something completely new to me, but new isn’t always bad. In this case, that was true; oil painting is awesome. The two teachers for AID were very helpful and masters of the craft. Even someone as artistically challenged as I got the hang of it… at least I think. After completion, my art piece became a beautiful souvenir I will remember forever. Not only that, but it was an experience I won’t forget. The key takeaway here is always to keep an open mind and be flexible
