Today I was in charge of Roc the Panther. Our first stop of the day was an Old Wastewater Treatment Plant, or as we referred to it, The Sewers. Here we learned about the original system and technology they had implemented for wastewater treatment.

A fun fact they told us was that one of the rooms on the tour of the plant has been used as a venue since approximately 1996. They have done concerts, movies, and even weddings. Roc couldn’t pass up his opportunity to get his picture taken there. This was very educational since I had never actively thought about wastewater treatment before.

Then, at Charles University we had a history class on the transformation of engineering and a language class. We learned different words while trying our best not to mispronounce anything.

So far, I really like the Czech Republic. It reminds me of different places I’ve seen and lived before. What’s special is the architecture. I’ve never seen anything like it. Come back later to learn more about my days here. Na shledanou!
