What an exciting third day! Today we went to the Central Bohemian Innovation Center and learned how they support innovation and entrepreneurship all over the central area of The Czech Republic. It seems compared to Pittsburgh there is a more focused support system for entrepreneurs. I feel like in Pittsburgh and the U.S in general it’s more every man for themselves and isn’t many companies that provide support services in the CBIC does for their local companies. CBIC seems to provide advice, funding, and general support for local inventions. I especially enjoyed learning about their ideas like the ComboSki.
It also was beneficial learning about the Czech language and history from the Charles University lectures. It gave a new perspective and information. Excited for Victory Day and the cooking class.
