After the Czech Republic history class I realized how large of a role the Czech Republic played in early innovation and engineering to advance in important innovations. I didn’t realize how many and the scale of the engineering innovations that came out of the Czech Republic were, and I think that was majority because of originally not having too much of a background on the country so making some assumptions based on just what I’ve previously learned and even on the size of the country. I think I underestimated the country a bit because seeing the size of the country on a map compared to other places I didn’t expect such big and important advancements to come out of here, but now after the history class I realize that. Additionally, while we did a lot of research about the Czech Republic before coming here, I’ve always mostly learned about important engineers and innovations in the United States, but this class was really eye opening to the key engineers in the Czech Republic.
