We started our day today at 8:10 am. We went to the New Town Hall where we were met with our Professor from Charles University and 4 Czech students. We divided into groups to explore the town and try to figure out the scavenger hunt. We were able to get to almost the last step before we had to meet the group. We ate lunch and headed to the Central Bohemian Innovation Center. Here we learned how this company supports students with their ideas and innovations for startups. Lastly, we headed back to Charles University where we learned about all the history that has led to where we are in the Czech Republic. It’s crazy to think how the Czech Republic was founded just 33 years ago. It puts into perspective how long they have been fighting for their country. It’s very inspiring to hear all the history they went through and how they still were able to get their independence. Tomorrow is Liberation Day and I’m looking forward to seeing if there is a specific reason they celebrate.
