Our first visit today was Eaton. This company designs products and systems that help different industries safely manage, distribute, and protect electrical power and other forms of energy. They work in many industries, such as aerospace, hospitals, data centers, and light systems. Depending on the industry, Eaton adapts its products to meet the different needs and problem-solve each has. An important strength when working with different fields.
After that, we went to the KunstHalle Museum, an exhibition of art. Here we learned about the restoration process of the building and all the planning that goes into it. As well as, the planning that goes into storing paintings to maintain their its integrity, like the temperature. The museum had art varing from interactive art to video visuals.
Lastly, we had an alumni reception which students who got their MBA’s in Pittsburgh. This was a good opportunity to connect and talk to professionals across different industries. We have a lot to learn from them.
