The trip to Iguazu Falls was met with beautiful nature and breathtaking views. Our first stop of the day was Iguazu Falls, the largest waterfall system in the world.
In the picture, you can see the scale of this massive waterfall system. Argentina is visible on the other side of the falls while the Paraguay border is towards the right side of the photo. Through our visits to different companies and our lectures during our trip, we learned that Brazil is able to harness this water energy and power a great portion of their country through this hydropower.
Our next stop after visiting the falls was to the Parque das Aves. This is an animal sanctuary that focuses on the rescue of birds that are being illegally trafficked. My personal favorite bird we saw was the toucan! It let everyone get up close to take pictures without flying away.

After concluding our visit to the Parque das Aves, our group returned to the hotel to have dinner and recharge for the next day. This was my personal favorite day of the trip experiencing the beautiful nature and wildlife!
