We started off the day by visiting the Cold War Museum in Wenceslas Square. This museum was a bunker placed under an international hotel used in the Cold War days. Each room showed us a different part of a typical bunker such as an infirmary, a military information room, and a spy room. Each room had a specific and special purpose that was crucial during these times. It was very interesting to see how they provided air in these bunkers not only normally but also in case of power outages. Next we went to Skoda! Skoda was incredible. We first looked at the manufacturing line where each step only have around 1 min to finish their designated section. There was many examples of lean manufacturing I noticed from classes a previous internships. They were extremely efficient and had the system down to a science . I quite enjoyed seeing the process and am interested in manufacturing.
