While the weather may not have been ideal, I think Pienza was a beautiful experience to end a great day after our tour of Salcheto Organic Farm. Through the time in Florence, I was always looking to explore more of the Tuscan countryside as my mom had recommended to me for the past few months. Walking around the small town it amazed me the views I found and how nice the people were. I will always remember sitting in the restaurant right next to the overlook of the fields with a menu I was not able to really read, and that is how I tried deer for the first time. A delicious meal to top off a great day, with amazing views that I won’t forget.
