Within the city of Pienza, all of the city is very structured and boasts that its layout creates the perfect city. While it was very easy to navigate within the entire city, Kyle and I wanted to explore for what the local food had to offer within the perfect city. While the layout is planned out to the T, with a main road that would take you all the way from end to end, taking you all across the many side streets that Pienza has, it is somewhat easy to get lost but also find your way back to the main road.

One thing that a city cannot live without is food. Kyle and I explored until we found this little hole in the wall spot where we greeted the workers with Ciao and instantly sat down in a tiny room that had minimal elbow room but great smells and dishes. Kyle ordered a wild boar stew and I ordered a pork tenderloin which are pictured below. While this may seem like a small experience for some, I truly enjoyed just stumbling upon a small restaurant, ordering our entire lunch in Italian, even if it consisted of 4 words, and taking in the local smells of Pienza.
