Some moments are just so surreal that they make a situation hard to accept. That’s how I left just yesterday, when exploring the perfect town, Pienza, and an Organic Wine Farm buried in the Italian countryside. I was in a world unlike my own (Philadelphia/Pittsburgh): there were hills of never-ending greenery that bent into each other, and little roads carving through it. Everywhere I looked was scenic, filling me with sublime despite the amount of rain and cold wind that was following me. Being in places like this that have a connection to nature, not just from the built environment, is just an experience that I can never forget.
