As I sit in the airport before my long flight back to the United States, I can not help but reflect on my time in the Czech Republic. I think that it is important for anyone who is traveling to Prague to keep an open mind. There is such a rich history and culture enveloped in the city, and anyone hoping to visit must be willing to learn about it. The thing I am most grateful for with this global experience is the variety of learning I had. I was able to see some of what I learn in class be present in manufacturing facilities, explore the cuisine of the Czech Republic (one of my favorite parts) by going out to eat and through the cooking class, and learn about the deep history via museum visits, Jana, and guided tours (especially at Terezin). Thank you SSOE for making this trip happen and allowing me to be a part of it. I will truly remember this trip forever. Peace out blogs – it has been real!
