Today, we visited the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. It was very interesting to see the various projects that the scientists were working on, including one where they were designing molecular machines. This project stood out to me because the scientists were basically making mechanical machines that I learned about as a mechanical engineer, but on a molecular scale! After our visit, we all went to a bakery and had some delicious sweets and sandwiches. After, we visited Prague castle and learned about the church’s 1000 year history. Next, a small group of us went to visit the monastery up the hill that has one of the oldest libraries. It was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. Afterwards, we decided to continue up the hill and see the smaller Eiffel Tower replica. While the rest of the group decided to climb it, I decided to go to a student meditation event back in Old Town where they taught Sahaja Yoga Meditation. There, we meditated for a bit, then played board games and had pizza for the rest of the evening. I had a lot of fun today!
