My alarm went off early with the sunrise. Before embarking on our journey home, my roommate, Alexis, and I went on one last walk around the city. We made our way over the Old Town Square and to the Charles Bridge. This was the quietest I had seen the city (not much of a surprise though… it was 6:30am). The streets were empty. I couldn’t think of a better way to say farewell to this city.

After our walk, we made our way to breakfast, collected our luggage, and said farewell to Prague as we made our way to the airport. At the airport we said our goodbyes to our tour guide, Jana, and embarked on our journey back to Pittsburgh.

This was a wonderful trip that taught me so much about myself, the world, and engineering. Ahoy, Prague! Thank you for everything!
