While in Foz do Iguaçu engineering was combined with nature in a unique way. The highlights of Foz do Iguaçu was the Itaipu Dam and seeing the incredible Iguazu Falls.

As an electrical Engineering student with an interest in power systems, visiting Itaipu was very meaningful. Learning about one of the largest hydroelectric power plants in the world was fascinating, but seeing it in person gave me a greater appreciation for the infrastructure and engineering required to generate and distribute power on such massive level. It was impressive to see how Itaipu provides electricity to both Brazil and Paraguay. Visiting Iguazu Falls was very different but as unforgettable experience. Seeing the sheer size and power of the waterfalls was incredible.
