It is officially the end of the program and I will be returning soon to Pittsburgh. It has been an incredible experience getting to do everything on this Program from learning about Czech history and language to entering the silver mines to simply just walking around Prague everyday. I can confidently say I will definitely need to come back as I think this is an extremely special and unique city with beautiful architecture and countless things to see.
To give advice for people traveling to Prague I would say keep an open mind throughout everything. Czech people are very friendly and often speak very well English, especially younger people, you can learn a lot from just starting conversations with waiters or workers at shops, do not be nervous. For more practical advice I would suggest to bring cash. Although many places take care, there are a few places we visited that were cash only so we had to use the ATM which can be tricky and inconvenient.
To conclude my final blog post I would say I am most grateful for the friendships I made from this opportunity. I really enjoyed everyone in our group, especially our instructors, and felt no matter how tired we were we still had so much fun and shared so many laughs. I laughed so much on this trip and could not have asked for a better group of people to experience Prague with for the first time.
