To end this journey and experience, I got up at 6 am and walked around Old Town Square and Charles Bridge one more time before heading to the airport. It was beautiful to see the city so quiet, and I was able to say one last goodbye.
This has been an amazing experience, and I would absolutely love to come back one day. My biggest piece of advice for anyone traveling to Prague is to make the most of it. Try new foods, explore new places (especially the castles and cathedrals), and most importantly take pictures and document all of the new knowledge and experiences you gain along the way.
I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to study abroad, even with the 24-hour travel day home, but I am even more grateful for how much the experience pushed me out of my comfort zone. Both academically and personally, I gained new experiences and a new sense of confidence. I learned how to navigate the tram system (mostly), flew internationally alone for the first time, and spoke with company leaders while asking questions whenever I wanted additional information. This trip not only taught me more about engineering and the extensive history of Prague, but it also helped me grow professionally and gain more confidence in my ability to travel.
